Multi-scene videos — a lesson in stages, an explainer with problem and solution, a tips series — need editing. Editor de Vídeo Online's Studio is a simple editing area, right in the browser, that keeps all your videos and lets you edit video on a timeline: trim, reorder, join and add transitions.

What is the Studio?

Click the Studio tab (“Estúdio”) at the top. There you will find:

  • The history of every recorded video, with thumbnail, duration and size.
  • The timeline, where you assemble the final video.
  • Options for transitions between clips and the format.

Every video recorded with Record video is added to the Studio automatically. To bring in outside videos, use Import video (MP4 or WebM).

Organizing the history

  • Double-click the name to rename (e.g. "Scene 1 – problem").
  • The × removes the video from the Studio.
  • History and timeline are saved in the browser.

Putting clips on the timeline

  1. Select one or more videos (click; Ctrl/Shift+click adds).
  2. Drag them to the timeline or click + Add to timeline.

Choosing the transition between clips

  • Hard cut: a direct switch, fast pace.
  • Dissolve: one scene blends into the next, smooth.
  • Fade to black: passes through black, marking a chapter change.

Learn when to use each in transitions: hard cut, dissolve and fade to black.

Choosing the format

The final video format can be same as the first clip, vertical, landscape or square. Choose based on the target platform — see the social media format guide.

Generating the final video

Click Generate final video. The edit is recorded in real time, so keep the tab open and visible. The file downloads as editor-de-video-online-estudio_date_time and is also stored in the history as "Montagem" (edit).

  1. Write the script split into scenes (script template).
  2. Create and record each scene (Hand drawing or Vox collage).
  3. Rename them in the Studio: "01 – intro", "02 – problem"…
  4. Put them on the timeline in order and trim pauses at the start and end.
  5. Choose the transition and format.
  6. Generate the final video.
  7. Add narration and music in an audio or video editor (see how).

Frequently asked questions

Can I import videos made in other programs?

Yes. Use Import video to bring in MP4 or WebM files and mix them with your animated scenes.

Is the timeline lost if I close the browser?

No. History and timeline are saved in the browser you used.

Can I use different transitions between each pair of clips?

The chosen transition applies to the whole edit. If you need different ones, generate partial edits and join them afterwards.

Conclusion

The Studio turns separate scenes into a complete video without leaving the browser. Rename, drag, trim and export. Open the Studio in Editor de Vídeo Online.
