Terms of use

1. Acceptance

These Terms of use govern the use of the Editor de Vídeo Online website, blog and editor at editordevideoonline.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Editor de Vídeo Online is a browser-based tool to create animated videos from images: Hand drawing (whiteboard), Vox collage, Paper effect, a Studio to edit the final video, an AI prompt gallery and related features. It works best on current versions of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. We may improve, change or remove features over time.

3. Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything that happens in your account. Tell us if you suspect misuse.
• You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you need the permission of a parent or guardian.
• On the Team plan, the account owner is responsible for the people they invite.

4. Plans, payment and cancellation

• Plans: Editor de Vídeo Online offers a Free plan and paid plans (Pro and Team), with the features and prices shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
• Billing: paid plans are charged in advance on a recurring basis, monthly or yearly, to your payment method, and renew automatically until you cancel.
• Cancellation: you can cancel at any time in My account → Subscription and plan. You keep access to paid features until the end of the period already paid, and you will not be charged again.
• Refunds: on your first purchase of a paid plan, you can cancel within 7 days for a full refund. Otherwise, we do not refund partial periods already started, except where required by law.
• Price changes: if the price changes, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance, and the new price only applies from your next renewal.
• Failed payments: if a charge is declined, your account may move to the Free plan until payment is resolved.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the images, photos, audio, text and videos you use or create in Editor de Vídeo Online (“your content”). Because processing happens in your browser, we do not receive your content and do not use it for anything.

You confirm that you have the right to use what you upload — for example, consent from the people in your photos and licenses for third-party images, music and trademarks — and that your content does not break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.

Your work is stored in your browser. Clearing site data, switching browsers or computers may delete it. Keep copies of important videos; we cannot recover them.

6. Using the videos you create

• Free plan: personal, non-commercial use, such as studies, school projects and posts on your personal social accounts.
• Pro and Team plans: commercial use allowed, including for clients, ads, courses and products for sale.

The hands, textures, backgrounds and other visual assets included in Editor de Vídeo Online may be used freely inside the videos you create with the Service, but may not be extracted and redistributed on their own.

7. AI prompts and images

The prompt gallery offers suggested text to use with third-party AI services such as ChatGPT and Gemini. Your use of those services and of the images they generate is governed by their own terms. Editor de Vídeo Online does not control or guarantee their output.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use Editor de Vídeo Online to:

• create or share illegal content, content that incites violence or hatred, or content that exploits or endangers minors;
• infringe other people’s copyright, trademark, likeness or privacy rights;
• deceive people, such as edits that make someone appear to say or do something they did not, without their consent;
• try to access restricted areas, copy, decompile or reverse engineer the Service, or overload our systems;
• resell, rent or share paid access beyond what your plan allows.

9. Editor de Vídeo Online’s property

The software, brand, design, website and blog text and visual assets of Editor de Vídeo Online belong to Editor de Vídeo Online or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and your plan.

10. Availability and demo version

We work to keep the Service available, but it may undergo maintenance, outages or changes. While in demo mode, sign-in and subscription work only in your browser and no charges are made.

11. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Editor de Vídeo Online is not liable for loss of content stored in your browser, for the output of third-party services, or for indirect damages such as lost profits. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

12. Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time in My account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law, notifying you whenever possible. In that case, data will be handled as described in the Privacy policy.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. Consumers may bring claims in the courts of their place of residence.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. We will announce significant changes by email or inside Editor de Vídeo Online before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply to you.
